ECC 6.0: mainstream maintenance ends
For ECC 6.0 on enhancement packages 6 to 8, mainstream maintenance ends on 31 December 2027. Extended maintenance until the end of 2030 costs a surcharge on the maintenance fee, and older EhP levels already dropped out at the end of 2025. Large customers can use a transition option until 2033 through RISE with SAP if they move to the private edition on SAP HANA first.
What we do: Readiness Check, conversion roadmap and rehearsals, so the project does not end up under time pressure in 2027.

Solution Manager 7.2 is replaced by Cloud ALM
Mainstream maintenance for SAP Solution Manager 7.2 also ends at the end of 2027. Its successor is SAP Cloud ALM, with health, job, integration and user monitoring, alerting and project functions. Not every Solution Manager scenario has a direct equivalent.
What we do: An inventory of your Solution Manager usage, the Cloud ALM Quick Start and a transition without a monitoring gap.

SAP PO 7.5 moves to Integration Suite
Mainstream maintenance for SAP Process Orchestration 7.5 also ends at the end of 2027. The target is SAP Integration Suite on SAP BTP, with Edge Integration Cell for interfaces inside your own network.

SAP Business AI Platform and Joule agents
At Sapphire 2026, SAP brought SAP BTP, SAP Business Data Cloud and SAP Business AI together as the SAP Business AI Platform. New are Joule Studio 2.0 for building agents and SAP AI Agent Hub for governing and monitoring them, generally available from the third quarter of 2026.
What we do: The technical groundwork: BTP, identity, connectivity, authorisations and governance, before agents access your systems.
